What to do if the monitor turns off?

I'll try to explain.
I was sitting, nothing foreshadowed trouble, and suddenly the monitor turned off and no longer showed signs of life, neither blinking lights, nor flickering the screen, nothing at all, just a board. But before that, it sometimes flickered pink, in order to reveal this, I simply moved the system unit.
Tried to shine through with a flashlight, nothing is visible.
Today I bought a new VGA cable, it also did not help.
When you turn on the computer, as usual, it beeps once.
Please help me, I will die without a computer and these boarding schools of yours.

This symptom often occurs before the backlight dies in backlit LCD monitors.
Perhaps the contact of the lamp (lamps) has burnt out, soldering it will help, if there is something to solder, or replacing the lamp itself, if there is nothing. It is possible to replace the lamp (lamps) with a "LED line".
Or maybe it was "the output of the video card burned out", since stirring helped ...
