What to do about packet loss?

Hello . I have been suffering for about 3 months now from packet loss in games and wild prolags for 3-4 seconds, before they started only in the evening, but as quarantine began, they appeared during the day. You can't play anything.

I called the provider before the quarantine, he said that he didn’t see any problem with himself, said that this could be due to: 1. the fact that there are frequent power surges in my village and I should buy a voltage stabilizer. 2. Fig router. 3. Someone turns on welding, (exactly from 16:00 to 22:00 of course ..) 4. Many people use my Wi-Fi (it pulls in one room). I do not really understand this topic, but how can there be a problem in the router if the losses start like clockwork. (well, that is, they started, already like 2 weeks they started in the afternoon.) I can’t connect directly because if I insert the cable directly (and not through a router), then there is no Internet, only the provider needs to be called and they will connect directly, but I still really need wifi so not an option.

WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider

, I don’t understand this at all, but it’s just in games that I’m just horrified, every 20-40 seconds it hangs for 3-4 seconds and the package is lost (the computer is good) . In general, I recently called the provider again, said that the quarantine and all game networks are loaded, and therefore the losses. I can’t change the provider because it is 1 for the whole village. In short, can there actually be problems due to the router? he's old if anything. Thanks for the replies in advance.

What model router?
Is this a problem at night - check when most people are sleeping.
Wanguyu - this provider does not pull out if you write that before that the problem started at 16 o'clock .... just people came home from work ....)
I had such a situation on the Dom ru provider - it flies during the day, after 18 o'clock wild lags ... (this is St. Petersburg if anything)
So I'm inclined to think that the provider's network is overloaded, but they are not recognized

Nonsense about the workload, for example, I have Blizzard games flying, and not only them, everything is ok ... prov Skynet. Yes, he hasn't had any problems before.

Most likely. Everyone and everywhere dipped the Internet with the beginning of quarantine, as a lot of people, instead of having breakfast and leaving, are sitting at home and, of course, on the Internet. So now we have "rush hour" all day.
I'm not sure what "game networks" are, but in general, the channels are loaded more and it already depends on how the provider decides and whether it can.

your provider is connected to another provider (backbone)
