What would you choose in order to connect Cisco ASA and Cisco 2901, if it is not possible to connect them via IPSEC (a security license was not purchased for 2901)

I don’t have any hardware with IP Base / UC, but if you believe the feature navigator, then the only option is an L2TP tunnel without encryption (and even then, I’m not sure that ASA, for its part, will let you set it up like that), because ASA does not support GRE.
As for the license trial, as far as I remember, this channel is only on 15.1, and even then not at all.
