What to choose for Mac OS X - Parallels or VMware?

Hello!

Requires Windows to learn C#. But the fact is that I have a Macbook with the most beautiful OS X, which I will not demolish in any case. Virtual machines immediately came to mind.

There is a video on the Parallels website that says that Parallels is the perfect solution for just the same development in VS on Mac.

But then I remembered VMware Fusion. And now I'm faced with a choice.

I hope for your reasonable help.

I have one goal: Install Windows 8.1, VS 2013 on it. And use VS in full screen mode on OS X.

This is a matter of taste and habit. You need to try both options and decide which is more suitable for you personally.
For example, I installed Parallels more than once, as this solution is praised much more often, but each time I was convinced that it was not mine. I don't like it when icons with two vertical stripes are constantly hanging in the dock :)
I like VMF because I have a full-fledged Windows. Use something more familiar. I always open in full screen mode and just move between desktops with one gesture on the mouse. Very handy for checking the layout in all browsers on both axes.
But again, this is a matter of taste. You won't know what works best for you until you try it.

If you are interested in installing Windows on virtual machines, then I can’t help you here, alas. But I could advise you to put Windows through the boot camp. Here is an excellent article www.iphones.ru/iNotes/windows-8-1-mac-installation...
