What theory to read on the topic "Search engines"?
Lately I've been interested in search engines and how they work. In this regard, the question is: what kind of literature would you recommend reading on this topic (roughly speaking, the theory on the basis of which search engines like Yandex or Google work)? I am interested in everything related to the analysis of the content of pages (highlighting keywords, determining the subject, the weight of words, etc.), as well as everything related to determining the citation index. I understand that the specific implementation details of search engines are company trade secrets, but I think the basics should be available. If I understand correctly, this topic is called machine learning (machine learning).

"The most read book in the Yandex library, from which all developers start working in the company. The first edition of the book sold like hot cakes. And this is no coincidence. in Russian on the subject of information retrieval. I recommend it to anyone who wants to understand the principles of search engines and those who are engaged in data analysis."
