What texturing program to use so that the computer does not lag?

I have an old laptop, HP Pavilion G7. For programs quixel and SP2 it is too weak, when drawing a texture, a slideshow starts. Unbearable.
And so I want to file textures on all the models that I made ...
Who will advise a program for texturing in which, just like in SP, you can draw with a texture, but one that does not load the laptop?
