What technology do you use to synchronize with a remote server?
During development, I used denver, a virtual machine (virtualbox, wmware), open server and set ubuntu as the main OS, but I experienced great convenience when the development server is on a VPS. The computer does not strain, nothing breaks (this is especially true for virtual machines, if the PC crashes, something will break).
The files must be uniquely on the PC and synchronized with a remote server (windows -> ubuntu). Now I use RealSync - and I really like it, with one exception, it changes folder permissions from 777 to 644, which leads to a breakdown in the work of projects and sites.
In general, tell us what you use for synchronization or what will suit me? Or maybe you know how to force dklab.ru/lib/dklab_realsync not to overwrite rights
