What switches are used in backbone fiber-optic communication lines?

I am writing a diploma on the topic "Designing a fiber-optic communication line between two data centers", I need advice on which switches or routers are better to use in this case.
The transfer rate should be around 300 Gbps. The length of the highway is from 100 km.
PS I know that the question is too simple and it makes no sense to explain it to me in the comments.

Depending on the scale of the data center, at the core level, they usually use something fast with a couple of supervisors and slots of 6-8 optical connectors, from cisco it can be from 6509 to NEXUS, say 7018. From juniki something similar to the Enterprise level.

For me, you don't need to use something extra to "connect" two data centers. If both data centers represent a common infrastructure (in a simple way, one owner), then there are already core switches there. They need to be connected. And the most competent thing, it seems to me, is to do this using the DWDM system.

Depends on tasks. Many people can simply transfer packages from hole A to hole B. For example Cisco 6500/7600.
