What subnet should the proxy client be on?
Hello.
Help, please, to understand with understanding of addressing.
If the host has a LAN ip 192.168.0.2/24 (subnet1) and a proxy server is running on it at 10.0.0.1:25888 (subnet2) through a proxifier, and it goes outside through a router 192.168.0.1/24 (subnet1) and has gray WAN ip 172.16.0.99 (subnet3) , and the white address that sites see 2.2.2.2 (subnet4) , then:
1. What network settings should the wi-fi port of the host have so that the client (phone, another PC) can work with his proxy server? /itself has no assumptions
2. What ip-address will sites see when entering them from clients? / I myself think that 2.2.2.2
3. What DNS, if successfully connected to the proxy of our host, will clients have, provided they are connected via DHCP? /I think it's the same DNS provider of the host
4. If the host connects to the VPN, then the VPN server line like 192.168.0.2->192.168.0.1->172.16.0.9->2.2.2.2-> is simply added to the route to the destination site VPN->site?
5. What route will then be on the proxy clients? /most likely dhcp wi-fi address->10.0.0.1->172.16.0.99->2.2.2.2 etc.
