What storage to use to store mysql inside a VM?
Good afternoon!
It is required to transfer one highly loaded server to a kvm virtual machine.
Mysql is running on the server. Quite a lot of inserts.
Storage on qcow2 disappeared immediately. On raw even more or less pulls.
There is an idea to stick an ssd into the server and mount it via iscsi in the inside of the VM.
I also thought about trying OpenVZ instead of kvm.
Tell me how best to implement?

meaning in iscsi?
the fastest will be a physical volume in openz, since there is a minimum of overhead costs.
