What software to choose for VDI?
There is a server, 2x Xeon E5-2620, 160Gb ram, 60gb raid1 from ssd and 8tb raid10. It is planned to virtualize 10-12 design PCs. Autocad, Inventor, SolidWorks and Compass 3D will be used from the software. Advise a platform for VDI. While we look narrowly at XenServer+XenDesktop. And what video card to take for the server? Is one Grid K2 enough?

WS2016 promises heaven on earth for application pros in VDI scenarios.
If there is money (according to the package listed, I dare to judge that they are) - VMware horizon. Of the top three VDI solutions, they have the most advanced. If you want to save money on licenses, take MS - in terms of performance, most likely, you won't even lose.
You should choose a video card based on the best practices of the chosen solution vendor, the software vendor's recommendations, and your own tests and measurements - you must admit, usage scenarios can be completely different.
In general, full-fledged productive VDI implementations are now being done either on Citrix or on VMWare Horizon view. Microsoft outsiders, I have never heard of XEN being used by anyone.
Alternatively, you can try to wait for Windows Server 2016
