OpenVZ or XEN?

Tell a beginner with a choice of VPS from reg.ru

I want to put 5 sites on VPS. I do not think that the attendance will be colossal at first. Yes, and most likely at first there will be one site, when it pays off, there will be another one and so on up to five projects on one VPS. Tell me which tariff to choose, is it worth overpaying, etc. Interested in VPS from https://hosting.reg.ru/vps/

The list of sites that will be on this VPS:
1. Game portal
2. Cloud promotion of social networks
2. Rent of digital stores
4. Financial operations (automatic guarantor service, online loans, automatic currency exchange)
5. Corporate website

Unscrupulous hosters can oversell very strongly on OpenVZ virtualization. I would take XEN.

Any since in your case it does not matter what type of virtualization

usually xen/kvm virtual machines are more expensive than openvz,
and one of the reasons why is because it is easier to overclock on openvz, because configurations are possible on openvz when less RAM is actually available to you than declared at the rate ...
BUT openvz is faster because it is not used virtualization (and this is + 10% -30% to the computing performance of everything that the processor takes), because RAM is saved (a few tens of megabytes) due to the fact that system processes are common to all virtual machines on the host.
xen/kvm is almost a full-fledged machine, any operating system (within reason, since virtualization eats up resources), any kernel versions, your own whims, up to gentoo... sometimes it's a bonus.
and for the paranoid, remember, on xen/kvm you can configure partition encryption with entering a password/specifying a key file when you reboot in an ssh session, and it will be noticeably more expensive (but not impossible) for administrators/hosters to get access to your data.
