What software is better to choose for backup?
Tell me, who uses what software for backup? There is a small server under windows and FTP under gnu/linux. I would like the program to take folders from the server under windows and drop them on the FTP server without compression, as is. Also, what could be done on a schedule Full and Differential backups on a specific schedule. For example, on Saturday, a full is done, on a weekday - a diff. The full one is stored for 3 weeks, and diff 2 and the oldest backup is deleted.
What I tried: Cobian backup - There is a function of storing on FTP without compression, but for some reason it does not delete old backups and on Saturdays does not want to do full and delete old backups. And there were several tasks (about 8) and only 2 works as it should. All tasks were copied.
I tried to write a *.bat script, but it did not work out to FTP - the connection is constantly torn.
Comodo BackUp - as far as I understand - there is no way to drop it on FTP.
Backup Exec - A cool program, almost what you need, but it stores backups with the *.bkf extension, which is not very desirable, because. was terrible experience storing files in .7z

For creation of images of machines I use Acronis, for a backup of a DB the configured batch files, I store on a network podmaplenny disk.
I use AutoIT, which is essentially an extended version of batch files. You launch the executable with a scheduler - profit.
True, they told me here in one of the topics that I am a masochist and PowerShell is our everything.
By the way bases I press 7z, it is painfully tasty he presses mssql backups.
