What NAS server and program should I use to create backups from FTP and WebDAV?

Hello.

What NAS server and program should I use to create scheduled backups from FTP and WevDAV?

We considered Synology DS920+ but did not find the ftp and webdav protocols in the manual for the Active Backup for business program. Or maybe there is a third party program that supports it?

Explore the following options:

  1. https://www.duplicati.com/
  2. https://cyberduck.io/
  3. handybackup.net/webdav-backup.shtml
  4. Free software from Veeam: https://www.veeam.com/downloads.html?hvt=free (it used to be called Veeam Endpoint Backup, but now they have spawned a family of utilities unfamiliar to me)

Duplicati can be run on a NAS, the rest, as far as I remember, will require a separate computer. More precisely, unfortunately, I will not write, because. you have a "non-standard direction" backup.
But regardless of the chosen software, taking into account the protocols, I would advise, at least at first (or better always), how to keep an eye on the state of backups. Those. check that everything that is needed is copied, and also that it is copied without damage.
This is all the more important, the farther away the source of backups and the system for storing them are. A conditional reference point - in one they a local area network or not.
