What simple program to use for scanning?
Basically, I want the program.
To be able to create two shortcuts on the desktop.
One label scans from one tray. Second from another.
And automatically saves pictures to a network folder
.
This is how I want the process. inserts the paper to be scanned.
tear off the label.
after scanning, the program displays a window saying successfully. with auto-close after 30 seconds.
Is there such a thing?

There is probably no such thing, but there is Winscan2pdf , and it is for Windows, as the name implies
Try NAPS2 .
Supports creating scan profiles for different types of documents and devices. Able to do batch scanning for flatbed scanners. Able to save both to graphic file formats (including multi-page ones) and to PDF. There are basic tools (twist-crop) that can be used after scanning a bunch of documents. Able to scan through TWAIN and WIA, and the brightness and contrast settings can be applied both through printer drivers and after scanning. The latter can be useful for stubborn devices that ignore brightness/contrast settings.
There is a CLI, so perhaps it will be possible to reduce scanning tasks to one shortcut.
