First, about the resource.
There is a certain website, media with author's articles of a cognitive and developmental nature (science, health, business), a poster of cultural and professional events (own and partner). User profiles, minimal social content such as messaging and friending.
An "infoline" or block should appear on this resource. It just has to be and that's it. Please do not discuss its necessity or uselessness)

Looking at the selection, it is not difficult to notice that the content of the block is almost identical everywhere. What else can be added to it? Are there examples of non-trivial solutions? Or just interesting ideas? Wishes in the end? :)

The info line should complement the information on the site. Or be interesting to the main audience of the site.
So for a travel site, there may be hours in different cities, weather, etc.
For a site with business articles - currency quotes, various indices, etc.
So first decide on the subject of the resource and its audience. Then the decision will come by itself.
