All sorts of NASA and the like have been researching this for a long time, there is a lot of interesting things there, but for the most part it is about iron parts (how the arrows should look, where they should point, etc. etc.). If you make physical interfaces, then you must also imagine the fact that all people are very different. Well, if it is software, then do not forget about fonts, colors, and logic, everything should be simple and clear. In general, if you ask your grandmother to figure out the interface and she will quickly understand everything - well done, if your grandmother does not understand, but your parents understand - you are an ordinary designer, and if only you understand ... well, you understand :)

You need to learn to highlight the tasks solved by the user. First of all, the tasks facing him are real. If games are launched for the sake of the games themselves, then business software, as a rule, is to solve some problem. These are the problems you need to learn to look for.
