What server configuration for 1C: Retail (Managed Forms) for 150-200 users would you recommend?

There was a need to change the server to improve performance in 1C: Retail.
Platform: 1C:Enterprise 8.2.19.102.
All clients connect in Thin Client mode.
Interested in both hardware and software.
Can I use Windows 10 Professional x64 + postgresql as a server?
I would like to save money in this regard, because. we do not need the standard server functions of Windows Server, we only need the ability to use the 1C Server + postgresql bundle. What can be fraught with such savings on software?

Issue resolved without purchasing a new server.
1. Installed a RAID array with SATA3 support, but we do not use it as a RAID, we use it as a SATA3 controller. The motherboard only supports SATA2. We connected 2 SSD disks to it (one for the bases, the other for tempdb) in order to fully use their speed. The read / write speed has increased significantly.
2. Made BIOS settings in accordance with these recommendations:
www.gilev.ru/systemperfomance
www.gilev.ru/bioshp
3. Completely reinstalled Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 OS.
4. Installed MSSQL 2008 + SP3 to it. The limit on RAM is about 20 GB. We left only the Shared Memory, TCP / IP modes.
5. Installed the platform 8.2.19.130, five worker processes with a limit of 2GB per process.
As a result, in the Gilev test we have 34 points, which is almost twice as much as our previous results.
TOTAL:
I think the increase in speed is mainly due to the fact that we got rid of virtual machines.

You need the difference between a 1s server and a database server, how do you need to know how much the base weighs at the moment, what growth is six months and a year after that, look at configurations, connections are limited to 20 connections on non-northern OSes
