Replication is quite feasible using the 1C 7.7 platform. The technology is called Distributed Database Management (URBD) www.mista.ru/articles1c/urbd.htm Object changes will be registered in each of the databases and transferred between the databases. Working simultaneously on two servers is quite possible, given the understanding that data is not replicated instantly.
