What server configuration 1C 8 to choose for 8 users?
Good day!
Planned to move from 7.7 to 8ku. There are two offices, each with 4 users for a total of 8 people. The server is planned to be installed at the boss's house.
At the moment, the database (in 7.7) weighs a little more than 1GB, how much it will weigh after the "distillation" in 8k.
1. As I understand it: the database on SQL will spin on the server, what configuration should the server take?
2. The fact that the server will stand remotely from - will there be no brakes?
Thank you!

i7 7700k + 32 RAM + SSD + VPN + RDP, server 1c and skul on one machine. If the clients are powerful (not Celeron), and the configuration is on managed forms, then you can try a thin client via the http protocol (but also over VPN)
In general, the question is strange, no budget for hardware / software, no configuration, nothing.
In this scenario - 2 people are actively working with a small database - 1GB, and 6 more can work periodically - the file version is enough for you.
SQL Server and a dedicated server are very expensive in terms of licenses for such a simple task, and redundant.
v8.1c.ru/expert/cts/serv.html#106-001 there are examples of implementations indicating the number of users and equipment.
