What's wrong with glyphs in Illustrator?

Hello friends, I ran into such a problem .. in the panel with glyphs .. there are glyphs. But you can’t insert them .. instead of any glyph for a letter .. a regular one is inserted. What could be the problem?

In the upper drop-down menu "show:" select the item: all characters of the font and try to change fonts because each font has different glyphs and some do not even have them.
