What's up with startups and React?

I read this , very strange feeling. This is not the only post. So, being a startup, you can't use React? What about other frameworks? Thank you.

As I understand it, there are theoretical considerations that if you are using react and want to sue Facebook for patents, then you will not be able to do this while you are using react.
Most likely the probability of this is close to zero, so you can not bathe and safely use react.
