What's the point of a MacMini Server?

Why is it generally used and in what cases is its use justified? Is there a server software that only works on mac or works better on mac than win/lin?

@Sanes

1. Mac
2. Mini
3. Server
IMHO, for maniacs, jittery on a stub.

@vikarti

I use a mini (Late Server 2012) as the main computer
why not a MacBookPro / MBA:
- two monitors
- the ability to put 16 Gb RAM
- two slots for a disk (I assembled it with Fusion Drive handles)
- a top-end MacBookPro is still ... expensive
why Server and not a simple configuration:
- at the time of purchase, they were in re-store Server with more normal processors (I have 2.3 Ghz Core i7)
- You do NOT need to buy a second special cable where disassembly tools are sold)
if it was possible to buy a custom config in the Apple Store, then perhaps the choice would be different (where I live, the Russian Apple Store does not deliver)
before that, by the way, the main computer would be a self-assembled hackintosh
