What's the fastest way to open a file in OS X with a non-default program?
For example, there is an image that needs to be opened in Photoshop. Opens in Preview by default. Using the context menu, you can open it in Photoshop through “Open with”, but this is not what you need. The “Open with” context menu is often stupid and takes a long time to open.
Finder hotkeys could not be configured.
UPD: The example I described is just an example. It's not just about pictures and a specific program. Need a generic method to open any files in any program on demand, i.e. at a particular moment, rather than changing the association with the default program.

Indeed, Automator managed to find a solution. Everything turned out to be quite simple.
1. Select services https://yadi.sk/i/Apjh8Mo_cSGvh.
2. Select from the library "Open Finer Items", select the necessary program in it: https://yadi.sk/i/HxePFZzBcSGtF.
3. Save the script.
4. Assign a keyboard shortcut to this entry https://yadi.sk/i/ZJPVRA5EcSH5j
5. Use https://yadi.sk/i/_T8GRteEcSHBB.
Set it to always open in Photoshop. Go to File get info and select the default program to open this file from the list.
Then it will always open with Photoshop, and only when you need to open it in view.
Through the Properties, right-click, as suggested above. Select a program from the list and check the "Open in this program" box.
You can play with Automator or write a hardcore script that runs on a combination and intercepts data about the selected file from Finder. You can embed item(s) in the context menu. But all this requires extraordinary solutions.
Just drag and drop the file onto the application icon in the dock.
