Do it yourself

What's inside a panel antenna (MIMO LTE)?

What is inside such an antenna?

There are suspicions that there is something similar to this , but the thickness seems to be too small. Almost 99% sure that there is a piece of wire at best inside or tin plates, for which there are 5k wooden ones it is not clear, it’s easier to do this yourself than to buy, as it seems to me.

There, inside, most likely the so-called. patch antenna... a specific profile etched on regular fiberglass (FR4), in rare cases, usually for high frequencies, on another substrate, such as ceramic. A hole was drilled at a certain point, to which the central core of the coaxial cable was soldered.
UPD:
It may look, for example, like this:
Well, on the topic of "take and copy" ... as already said, the result will depend on a very large number of factors - on the accuracy of copying and the dielectric parameters of the materials used, and up to the thickness of the metallization and the color of the varnish, and even a slight deviation can easily reduce the efficiency of the antenna at best to that of a simple piece of wire. So, without knowledge of the theory of calculation of antennas and resp. expensive measuring equipment for the final adjustment, the idea looks very doubtful :)
