What's going on with my clipboard in Win10 and Excel?
I work in Excel (2007) and I see that when I copy something in Notepad++ and try to paste it into Excel, what is pasted is not what I just copied, but the previous data copied in Excel. Does Excel now have its own clipboard?

This is some kind of your personal glitch.
Excel really has its own clipboard in a sense. It is often reset if, after copying, any other operation is performed in Excel than pasting. Those. if you copy, and, for example, change the font to bold, copying is reset. But this does not lead to the oddities you describe.
I set up an experiment - when copying to notepad ++ on the control machine, what is copied is inserted.
