What root servers were in the WTC towers prior to 9/11?
I remember reading an article a long time ago that, until 2001, there were already two root DNS servers located in WTC-1 and WTC-2. And, accordingly, it caused some network blackout during known events. This was cited as an example after which the redundancy approach was revised.
M.b. Has anyone else seen the puff too? I can’t find it at all either in the Russian-speaking or in the English-speaking Internet.
