What reflectance and transparency coefficients should be set for glass?
Bottom line: I'm making a pathtracer. For the glass material, you need to set the reflectance and transparency coefficients kS and kT, which would then multiply the color of the reflected color and the color of the transparent color for each pixel by these coefficients, respectively.
Actually, I have empirically established what looks best for glass when
kS is 0.75, kT is 0.95-1.0
But still - who has come across something similar - what coefficients should be? Can I see a table of coefficients kD, kS and kT for various materials somewhere?
