What ready-made solutions and special effects are suitable for creating a live escape room?

Let me explain the term escape room. A team of two, three or four people are locked in a room, and they need to get out of there in one hour, opening hiding places, looking for clues, applying the things found, calculating codes and getting keys. Very similar to a computer game, but in a real room with real objects.
There is a scenario involving microcontrollers, low-current electronics and mechanics.
Please tell me if there are ready-made boxed solutions that can be easily implemented into the room and into the scenario. Perhaps not, or I already know about everyone - but I want to expand my horizons.

If boxed = a minimum of finishing, soldering and writing code, then it turns out something like this:
1) RFID (both low-frequency and NFC)
2) Any toys and household appliances with remote control from remotes (up to RGB candles with IR remote control)
3) Any toys and household appliances with sensors (sound, light, surrounds)
4) Boxed security alarms (a lot of Chinese crafts)
5) Magnets and reed switches (conditionally boxed, we include in the gap of any electrical circuit)
6) Elements of a smart home (conditionally boxed, but there are solutions from paragraphs 2,3,4)
And three articles from @arruin for inspiration, of course:
