What ready-made commercial smart home projects are currently on the market?

In my current apartment, as far as possible and in the process of repairing separate rooms, I managed to install a GSM alarm system (smoke, leakage, penetration), heated floors with programmable thermal switches, assembled a chandelier with PU ... In general, in pieces and separately from each other.
Now in terms of acquiring your own real estate with "bare walls", where already from scratch it will be possible to realize all the Wishlist, which were previously difficult to implement.

But homemade products are used everywhere.
I have nothing against it, but unfortunately not really mine, so I'm looking for options for ready-made commercial projects / controllers. Or assembly from ready-made components, but without programming / soldering the controller board.
IMHO, our wires are everything, so I will lay a twisted pair cable everywhere, so that with a margin.
What do you need for a home? Let's say:
0) Internet / SMS control
1) window / balcony opening sensors
2) front door opening sensor
3) smoke / fire sensors, leaks
4) electromechanical shut-off valve for water + gas (although gas workers seem to be against it)
5) temperature in rooms? then you still have to manage underfloor heating or air conditioners ...
6) humidity in the bathroom? extractor control
7) turn on / off the light? I would not want to leave the classic switch
8) video surveillance
9) turned off hot water - starting the boiler, closing / opening risers with water
10) there are no people at home, changing the scenario to an economy mode ...
Criticize, maybe a "smart home" for an apartment is not so as relevant as a good alarm. By the way, I’ll also take advice on what to choose, I’m not very happy with the current one (rhythm 5 is worth it)

Good afternoon!
I do not think that you can immediately find a ready-made solution that you can buy for some fixed amount of money, bring it home, unpack it and use it. Also, I won’t say that a Smart Home is something that you can’t buy for money at all. A relatively "standard" way is to go to an integrator company and, together with their managers and technical specialists, draw up a technical task, select components, perform installation and commissioning. For all this you have to pay and quite a lot. Moreover, the percentage of pledged profits is often incredibly high due to the exclusivity of the service. But here, unfortunately, it cannot be said that having paid once, everything will end. Appetite comes with eating and soon you will want to expand the capabilities of your Smart Home, and for this, again, you need to contact specialists.
If you are technically savvy, you can look towards products based on the ZWave protocol - the same Fibaro Home Center or Zipato controller. These are quite balanced solutions, relatively easy to install and configure. With a large number of compatible ZWave hardware, you can get a huge amount of opportunity and flexibility in system expansion.
Well, the third option, so to speak, is a hardcore level, but not a nightmare - you don't have to "solder it yourself" :) Look towards the MajorDoMo project-- an open home automation platform that supports working with a large number of protocols simultaneously, both wired and wireless (including the same ZWave). This option is the most flexible in terms of budget, and also differs in that it has a very active community that generates tons of ideas in this direction.
Good luck with the implementation!

Greetings,
Yes, I agree with the previous answerer that majordomo will be one of the simple solutions for your own implementation, you can hook almost any hardware to it, and there is also a community where you can ask for help.
Further commercial projects as they become more expensive:
1. Z-wave
2. Sensehome (miniserver), limited in scenarios and protocols, but already a ready-made shield
3. Mimismart (requires a project, installation supervisor, and commissioning)
4. Loxone (requires a project, installation chief, and PNRM.)
This is a low price segment of systems, then it goes beyond your expectations. You can save a lot of money if you write a competent technical specification and ask the integrator for a ready-made programmed shield and commissioning, but then you need to connect everything yourself.

If you seriously want to build a Smart Home, then look at the European KNX standard, which is already 26 years old and is supported by all European companies producing electrical installation products, so as not to be tied to one manufacturer or a closed standard.

  • You can study and do it yourself ( see here )
  • You can find a KNX smart home installer and buy a service ( see google )
