Does it make sense to install an IP camera in the entrance?

I got this camera www.arecontvision.com/product/MegaVideo%C2%AE+Seri... , I had a desire to put it in the entrance, in order to find out which bitch constantly turns off the light (so far only with this one). In principle, I have already decided on the installation site and connection, but one moment stops me. I am almost sure that the camera will not stand idle for a long time in the entrance (I will not even dare to put an energy-saving light bulb in the open, because they will remove 100%). Of course, you can put it where it will not be so easy to remove it, but there is no review from there for my purposes. Actually the question is, does this whole idea make sense, or is it better to save the camera for something else, and solve the issue with light in another way?

Analog camera + ip encoder or recorder. The camera itself, which can whistle, is several times cheaper. I advise my customers to build a system in the entrance in this way. Your camera will be removed in a couple of weeks. By the way, there are vandal-proof housings for your camera on the Arekont website.
