What proxy server to use?

Hello.
I am working on one project (on JAVA + netty) and it took me to listen to one port (443+80) in 3 programs on one machine.
Accordingly, the question arose - how to do it. The first thing that came to mind was a proxy (maybe there are other ways?).
Hence the questions:
1. Which proxy is better to use (I mean from ready-made, always free and reliable!)? :)
2. Or write your own proxy (on netty), which will obviously take a lot of extra time (because I have not dealt with a proxy yet and I still have no idea how to work with HTTP (S))?
Who will tell?
