What program would you recommend to accurately determine BPM?

There is a need to determine the BPM of a large number of mp3 files.
The problem is that the music is not dance music (lounge, tango, classic, bossanova).
Now I use soundstretch , but the quality of the definition leaves much to be desired - very often for relaxed melodies 180+
Best of all is a console utility under *nix, but it is also possible under Mac, or at least for c++.
I saw MixMeister BPM Analyzer , it is more accurate, but with 50+ files under MacOS it crashes with an error (their support is silent).
