What program to use to track changes in folders?

Good afternoon!
Colleagues, tell me a program for monitoring changes in folders.
The meaning is this. There are project folders, as soon as new information is posted in these folders, the project manager receives an e-mail notification that a change has occurred in the folder.
While I googled the Folder Watchdog Service program. Maybe something else please tell me? Both paid and free.
