What processor to put in an old laptop motherboard?

Sent it in for repair. They said change the motherboard. I ordered my mother on aliexpress. As a result, they sent a similar one, but different by one letter, and my processor does not fit, as they said in the repair, they say they need another, next generation.
What I had:
processor i7 740QM
mother DAKL3 A MB8E0 REV:E
What was sent:
mother DAKL3 E MB8E0 REV:E
There was a Lenovo Y560 laptop, but it became a Y560P (only without a processor).
The Y560P specification lists the Intel Core i7 2630QM processor. But maybe something more alive can be put there? How to determine what is the maximum possible processor I can install in this new mother.

1. We read the characteristics of the mother by supported sockets and generations of processors
2. We are looking for the TDP value of the old processor
3. We select a new percentage based on paragraph 1 and trying, ideally, with the same TDP for the new one, or not greatly exceeding it
