Wired usb mouse buggy?
I changed the buttons in the mouse (soldered out the old ones and soldered in the new ones) and the mouse worked fine for several weeks.
But then it started to fail - when the OS is loaded (Windows 7 x64), the cursor starts to twitch by itself (the mouse is motionless) and the "usb device is not recognized" window pops up. And when I move the mouse, the cursor jumps around. And here are 2 cases that helped me:
1. Pull out and re-insert usb (many times)
2. Go to the "Device Manager" and remove the driver, then reconnect the mouse.
One of the ways helps from time to time.
But still, I don’t want to “steam” like that every time.
Does anyone know what could be the problem? And could I hit something when soldering if the mouse worked fine for a long time?
