What can be done to revive the HDD at home?
I have a 320 GB backup drive. After 5 years of his service, he often began to fail: he slowed down and sometimes disappeared from visibility, but then reappeared. Now it has ceased to appear at all and the BIOS does not see it. I took off the scarf on it and cleaned the oxidized contacts, but this did not help me. Is there any other way to help him? Of course, I don’t have important data there, but it’s still a pity to lose a backup disk.
