What processor to choose for the server?
Hello.
There was a question to lift the server for tests at home. Since I am not strong in hardware, and the re-read material only confused everything in my head, I ask here:
1. There will be some kind of server OS (Ubuntu server)
2. Docker (tomcat, MySQL, ...) Tomcat for testing light applications.
The choice fell on netops with processors:
Celeron J4005 (4 MB cache, up to 2.70 GHz)
Celeron J3455 (2 MB cache, up to 2.3 GHz)
Core i3-7100U (3 MB cache, 2, 40 GHz)
The difference between the devices is 10.000r, so I think it can take a simpler percentage and more RAM?
Thanks for the advice!

the brakes will be the same as with a weak processor in the form of a celeron, and a small amount of memory with a normal core i3 process,
and yes. it's all intel :)
For Java, take the memory, not the processor! 8GB is enough for any test tasks. A modern Celeron will pull for tests. But i3 is definitely better.
With Celerons (and silver Pentiums), the maximum memory limit (8 GB) is boarded up with iron boards. Therefore, more memory will not work. And if in six months you have free money for an upgrade, the memory simply will not work.
If you really want to save money and speed, take the golden Pentium : https://ark.intel.com/products/129946/Intel-Pentiu...
And overclock it to the older model (look at the memory limit!)
For tests, it is definitely better to choose virtualization on a powerful PC (from software, for example, virtualbox is great). Instead of buying a server, it is better to get more RAM, a faster / more capacious SSD, or a more powerful processor.
