Which processor is best for all python related backend technologies and possibly OC Linux.
Choosing between i5 8300h and ryzen 5 3550h? The second one is not much cheaper. I apologize for the possible stupidity.

According to tests, intel wins in one thread, in multi-threaded amd it is better. Total balance, but I would take amd, it's fresh

Definitely AMD Ryzen 5! Benchmark performance is 30% faster than Intel. AMD's CPU is newer and has lower power consumption of 35W versus 45W. And most importantly, the price tag!
