There is the following watch - www.jd.ru/product/788075.html , how to find out what kind of power supply they need? It is written only about 5V, but how many amperes? Inserted 5V, 2A - the backlight flashes (at a high frequency). The watch is powered by 3 AAA batteries.

Do batteries work well?
Perhaps the power supply is not stabilized - with pulsations, which is why it blinks.
Try any stabilized PSU marked = 5V.
If there is a broken line at the top, a solid line at the bottom, it means that it is not stabilized.
