What position should be prescribed in the contract for oneself and a subordinate, when the range of duties is extremely high, and does not fall under any of the specialties?
I welcome everyone, in general, such a question for the inhabitants of this resource. I work in a company in the official position of a "system administrator", and, as is usually the case in offices located in the post-Soviet space, I perform a number of additional activities that have practically nothing to do with the specialty itself. My responsibilities include: maintenance of the company's computer equipment park; control of movements, as well as drains / refueling of the company's vehicles through satellite monitoring systems; maintenance of the report card of drivers of the vehicle / calculation of wages; performing the functions of an operator of video surveillance systems, as well as their partial maintenance; registration of all suspicious actions of the personnel of the enterprise, as well as the implementation of preventive measures aimed at combating theft, and other illegal actions of personnel; performing the functions of the head of the security service, and the head of security. All this, of course, is a somewhat superficial explanation of everything that I do during working hours, and I’m already silent about the monthly preparation of various reports, writing out travel tickets, performing “unexpected” tasks for “friendly” organizations at the request of superiors, and a number of others. small activities that can be listed here for a very long time. In total, three medium-sized enterprises hang around my neck, and for each of them I do the above work, just on some objects, depending on the situation and the season, I focus more attention, and on some less. a somewhat superficial explanation of everything that I do during working hours, and I’m already silent about the monthly preparation of various reports, writing out trip sheets, performing “unexpected” tasks for “friendly” organizations at the request of superiors, as well as a number of other small activities that are very can be listed here for a long time. Before that, I already somehow asked a question here regarding this position, in which I tried to find out how best to formalize my contract, taking into account the specifics of the work, and the whole range of duties: System administrator, dispatcher and video surveillance operator - how to call a specialist , which performs the functions of these three specialties? In the end, I took shape as a "System Administrator" because. it was simply simpler, and another universal name of the profession, which would be useful to me in the future, and fell under international standards, for example, the same Canadian NOC ( https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citi.. .I haven't found it yet. It is clear that calling me "System Administrator", given all of the above, is quite difficult, and if we take into account the fact that for all the time of work, my range of duties and responsibilities have only expanded, it becomes extremely offensive to me that my real experience , in principle, in no way, and nowhere adequately registered officially. For this reason, I now have a number of questions that I would like to clarify with you:
1. Should I change the names of the profession under the contract? If yes, then I would like to see your options, which were, let's say, liquid in the United States and Canada, and fell under their national SOC and NOC occupational classifiers, respectively.
2. In the near future, they are going to bring a person under my control who will have to take on some of my duties, and in the future, after my departure, take my place. In what specialty would this person be better trained?
3. If it happens that I do not change the name of my profession now, then in the future, when hiring a subordinate / assistant, I have two options. The first is to register the newcomer as an "assistant system administrator", thereby not affecting my own position in any way, the second is to register him as a "system administrator", and promote me to the position of "senior system administrator". Which of these two options seems to you the most reasonable, and will there be any sense in such a "raise" at all?
4. Well, the last question, in the future, when applying for a job, will it be possible to include in the resume at least some of those activities that are not directly related to system administration?
Yes, of course, I understand that in some serious large company, this should be done by the authorities, and some kind of personnel department, and employees like me should not even have such questions, but I think that demagoguery should be there is no particular point in this topic, because you need to work with what you have, especially since I still have carte blanche to choose a specialty, and this, whatever one may say, is a significant plus. On the other hand, even if you have such freedom of choice, you need to approach this choice very responsibly, because you can write anything, but write something that will correspond to reality, it will be useful in the future, and will comply with SOC (USA) standards, and NOC (Canada), extremely difficult. For this reason, I really look forward to your advice, and thank you in advance to all those who will respond.

A typical multi-armed polypod is a phenomenon very typical for offices of the "three tables, two chairs" level. If you want to reflect in the labor that you performed certain duties - well, let them arrange you as an internal part-time job for the position of the one you want.
When you hire a fighter, let him be promoted to a leading position - head of a department, head of a group. The fact that the entire department was one person will not excite anyone, and the record will be weighty. :)
JFYI: I honestly doubt that you will be a good admin. In the question - a huge footcloth, in which 80% of the text - bespontovye arguments about the injustice of life.
In my case, I worked in more than four positions as an internal part-time worker. This allows you to make the work book more significant, if it matters to you.
sysadmin in general such a position
Software Engineer is much cooler
I read it, I teared up. It is necessary to run away from this office after the words "keeping the report card of vehicle drivers / calculating wages." Just run without looking back where your eyes look.
I'll tell you from experience.
- Do not be wise and do not suck anything out of your finger. During the interview, a normal specialist will figure you out in 2-3 minutes of conversation.
Realistically, according to your situation:
- there is such a thing as EKTS (Unified Tariff and Qualification Reference Book of Works and Professions of Workers) and PSK (Professional Standards and Qualifications).
In accordance with Article 143 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation , the tariffing of work and the assignment of tariff categories to employees are carried out taking into account the unified tariff and qualification directory of workers ... , the unified qualification directory for the positions of managers, specialists and employees, or taking into account professional standards .
Read carefully (it will not be superfluous for your horizons) and I believe that you will solve your question.
