I won’t say that I studied the TK in detail, but I ran through it briefly.
I see no obstacles for implementation on Bitrix.
But you need to be very careful about the implementation - you should not thoughtlessly use, for example, the tag system built into Bitrix for what you call tags. You will have problems. In this particular case, I would recommend a separate tag reference and multiple product property Tag as a binding to the elements.
