What parameters should the PC have so that Windows 8 does not slow down?

Hello, tell me what the PC should be in terms of parameters so that Windows 8 would work well and not slow down! and is it true that Windows 8 requires less system settings than Windows 7?
In my case, the parameters are as follows:
Video card: 128MB
RAM: 1GB
Processor: 1.6GHz

Official system requirements: windows.microsoft.com/ru-ru/windows-8/system-requi...
Nevertheless, 1 GB of RAM will not be enough for comfortable work. If possible, installing an SSD (32 GB will be enough) will noticeably improve system performance.

In your case, it is better to hand it over to the museum. But if, in fact, in order for it to slow down, 2 things are less critical: the amount of RAM and the speed of the hard drive. If the second one will be fine with any not very old hdd, then the first one has a special meaning. In my experience, it all depends on what exactly they are doing on it, if, as for me, a dozen programs are always open and over 100 processes, you need a lot of RAM, 4 is not enough, you need at least 8, but if you only watch movies and work in the office, then 4 is enough.

On 1GB, Windows will not slow down.
Until something is launched on it.
And then she will simply go to the swap.
The minimum IMHO is 4GB, tk. At 2GB, with Skype open and a dozen tabs in the browser, the brakes begin.
Therefore, I cannot say that with 2GB the system works.
CPU. Frequency is not a defining parameter. Just try it out in practice.
The drive is an SSD, without it everything is very bad.

On a similar configuration, I did not find drivers for a video card (more precisely, a PCI-AGP bridge) and I could not switch from WinXP to a newer one. So the problems can be not only in the brakes.

Depends on what you will be doing with it.
In general terms - at least 4 GB of memory, you already have an SSD, change the video card if you are going to play, only, probably, taking into account the listed components - along with the mother and processor.
