What OS, besides WinXP, can be installed on a very old laptop used only for printing?

Briefly about the main thing: 1.8GHz, 128Mb RAM, Windows XP is now installed. The old man is about 17-18 years old.
Everything suits (relatively), except that only Word is used. Perhaps now there are some operating systems that provide the functionality of only a "typewriter", not particularly demanding on the system?
PS If anything, the Debian system does not pull.
PPS Please don't send your laptop to the trash.

Well, who will develop under such OS resources now? Nowadays, coffee makers are probably more powerful.
About Linux here already wrote. And if you remain a friend of Microsoft, then the options are as follows.
The first option, logical, is to install an OS corresponding to its age on it. This is, as it is easy to calculate, Windows 2000 and 98.
The second option, for lovers of the exotic, but not Linux, is to try some ReactOS. It seems like "modern" and with low requirements. It will be cool if it works, for some reason the dudes are trying! :)
In all cases, you first need to find out if you have drivers for the appropriate OS.
Actually there is a third option - hardcore. MS DOS + some Lexicon. Who will definitely have enough resources! And the typewriter is ready - as ordered. :)

Your assignment is not correct.
I advise you to choose X-Server and not Linux assembly by name.
