What mode will the server be in?

There is a server on Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials (burn in hell whoever decided to save money. Burn twice). Server in the domain. After entering the domain, 30 days have passed and the server has gone down. Okay, I read the licensing terms - everything is clear - either a workgroup or a domain controller. Then the counter went on for 6.5 days (that is, it will be cut down next time in a week). And here is the essence of the question: after 7 days it will turn off and the counter will be updated again for seven days or the server will not turn on, or what the hell else? Who has experience with this type of license, please tell me what to expect from the server.
