Buy a netbook with HDMI and FullHD support ... You will have a torrent and a media center and youtube. And for control, you can take the remote control IR or Bluetooth .
Dune HD Max? As far as I understand, the 90 GB release is a Bluray structure, it reads them without problems. The piece of iron is generally promising, and is suitable in all respects. Here is an overview if you are interested: exler.ru/expromt/05-04-2011.htm
IMHO, any nettop on ION (2) with a separate remote control. If you install windows, then a remote control from the same manufacturer is perfect. :)
Look at i.market asus eee box or 3q qoo.
Do what you want in the beginning, look at your health and don't worry. Forget about this 90-gig release, you "need" it just like the blues in Dune HD Max.
Unfortunately, I can't talk about 90GB releases, but I'm quite happy with my Asus O!Play. I watched the movie Baraka at 1080p resolution at some impressive size - there were no problems. Despite the fact that none of the home technology could not play the film.
On the plus side: the support of the device by the community pleases - all new firmware are released, the guys select fresh assemblies (moServices) with codecs, sets of current channels, fresh optimized software (built-in opera, transmission, etc.), new goodies (X-Live, client for ex. ua and others). Also a plus is the low price. Of the shortcomings - the lack of internal storage. Those. it can only download something somewhere: to a network folder or to an external drive (e-sata, usb). From the statistics - after this player appeared with my friend, three more families from my environment became his brothers in a short time. I just don't know the next chain ;)
Returning to your question, if you have something in mind that can be used to test the device for your needs, I will be happy to drive some big video through it. You need more precise requirements - bitrate, size, image quality, codec, and so on. Maybe you have a reference video that should play well on the player that you need?
