What material to use for my projects?

Good day. I started programming in arduino IDE and assembling my projects. But the projects, of course, are "naked". That is, wires, servos, motors, sensors, etc. do not have any kind of housing. but I really want to enclose them in some kind of frame, because looking at the rotating motors on the table does not give anything at all. The question is that I need some kind of material that is flexible enough to use (i.e. low cost, affordable enough to buy, and does not require a lot of effort and other resources to give me the shape I need, cut, etc.)
There was such an option as a Lego constructor. But I consider it childish. In my opinion, this is not a serious approach. In addition, the assembled device will not have sufficient strength.
Another option would be to use fiberboard. Cut to the size I need and fasten with long screws. But it doesn’t suit me either, since I live in the city, and I have nowhere to put the fiberboard sawdust. In addition, small-sized sheets will not be sold in construction stores.
Ideally, it would be nice to have a 3D printer. But this toy is too expensive.
In general, I really count on your help. :)

Yes, any sheet material can be used. Plastic, plexiglass. Small details - you can even make them out of polymer clay - cheap and cheerful.
True, about sawdust made me laugh a little. Will you make a fur case there? How many of those sawdust on the arduino are there - I walked with a vacuum cleaner and that's it ...
