What machine components should I buy to build with Arduino?

Good afternoon!
For a more practical study, C decided to play around with Arduino, but I just don’t want to arrange banal blinking diodes, etc. I want to immediately start some small but significant project of my own and, for a start, assemble a radio-controlled car on my own. Advise where to start, there are so many components in the Chinese market, and frankly I can’t understand what exactly is better to choose for an Arduino project. I would like to independently assemble the whole car from separate finished parts, write a sketch and actually enjoy the result.
