What literature on administration to start with?

Good day!
The question is not new, but 100% I have not found an answer that would satisfy me.
The situation is as follows, administration is interesting, for a start I want to get acquainted with the main aspects, so I do not indicate network or system. Some knowledge is present, but they need to be streamlined and understand in which direction to replenish.
What I have at the moment:

  • Based on Exim, I can imagine how mail works, through which protocols the transmission / reception takes place, what checks are
  • I have a rough understanding of what functions and how nginx, apach perform
  • DNS, but no more than a user, that is, which records are responsible for what and why all this is needed
  • On networks, what I have ever seen live, dhcp, vpn and on pieces of iron I have probably seen a lot, including optics, but there is no scientific idea about all this, so to speak
  • It is also worth noting that I prefer Linux and dealt with the above listed only on * nix systems

The list is certainly incomplete, I wrote that the first thing that came to mind was to show an approximate level of knowledge. The whole negative point I have is that all this was studied purely practically.
I want to structure the knowledge that I have, to supplement the missing ones with fundamental ones, for further development in a more narrow specialization.
I started to read something (I don’t remember the author) quite primitive, it seemed rather boring, because I saw something and I know a little bit.
I watched "System and Network Administration, Limoncelli", the book is very efficient, but more practical and requires structured fundamental knowledge.
Tell me, please, where to draw, what to be guided by? The topic, of course, is interesting in itself for me, but I want something special to read.

For all books, try to find the latest editions.
Kolisnichenko also has many books on this subject.

Why are you duplicating questions, in fact?
What to read, see about the administration (use) of Linux for a novice developer?

@protven

Instead of reading books, they would get a job as an assistant to the system administrator. Immediately the questions "in which direction to dig" would have disappeared. And after some practical experience would appear, it is already possible to pull up academic knowledge.
If it’s not possible or you don’t want to change jobs yet - well, buy an inexpensive VPS, put your own Apache, muscle there, deploy a website on WordPress. For example, a portfolio site for a designer's girlfriend. Or some gitlab + jenkins + sonar for a familiar programmer. This is what I mean by reading books without solving practical problems is a dull, useless exercise.
