What laptops are waiting for us after October 26?

Hello.
I want to upgrade my laptop. And here, in connection with the release of Windows 8, many manufacturers have prepared interesting new items.
And people say that today's interesting models will be replaced by new ones even more interesting, and the old ones will definitely fall in price, as they will lose their relevance.
Is it so?
Now I like ASUS UX32vd. And I just fell in love with his coolest ips matrix and can no longer look at others. But I'm advised to wait for future interesting news, such as ASUS U500 and N56DP.
What else is worth waiting for? How not to miscalculate with a choice? Is it worth the wait at all? Maybe somewhere you can pre-order something cool?
I hope that someone is aware of all the interesting news on October 26th.
Thank you.

I did not wait, I took ASUS UX32vd a week ago and am very pleased. I caught up with the memory up to 10 gigs (2 soldered + a bar for 8), put the ssd to 256 GB and am happy like an elephant. Ubuntu boot < 10 sec. The cooling system is completely inaudible in normal operation, the matrix is gorgeous, the performance is very pleasant.
I myself thought to wait for the ASUS U500, but I decided that 13 "is the most for me.
As for whether to wait or not. There is an opinion that if you wait for the release of new models, then you can wait for a very very long time, because new models appear every year and do not The fact that the price will go down may go down, but not much, yet the new year is coming soon…

See what you need here. If you need a touch screen, then the novelties are for you. If you do not need it, then it is better to buy what you like. But my opinion: it is necessary to take after the release and the release of new models. You can save a good amount of money. An exception if you need it urgently, but as I understand it, this is not your option.
If new devices without a touch screen, then there is practically no difference. Well, there you have to decide what is more important to you. This is the eternal choice - to buy, or wait for the next model.

It is very strange that you did not aspire to Windows 8. Personally, I got it from MSDNAA a month ago and I decided to give it a chance. I used to think that this was ONLY a tablet version, but after I worked on it, I realized how wrong I was. He is good, stable, reliable. Of course, there will be dissenters, but my OS works like clockwork, maybe thanks to exceptionally good car care and licensed software. Ubuntu ... Well, it's also for an amateur, I did not endure this axis for more than six months, after which I realized that I simply did not need it. To each his own. But the only thing I support you in is choosing a firm. Asus is a stable company and its products are just great!
